We offer to taste 100% natural delicacy – the Berezinsky reserve honey

Ah, the diversity of honey! Sweet and exhilarating, medicine and pleasure: dozens of recipes for various dishes and drinks, an elixir that can heal the body and calm the soul, filling it with joy and memories of summer.

Favourite delicacy of the locals – natural honey – often becomes an object of forgery by unscrupulous sellers.

Such a product is devoid of a therapeutic effect, can lead to poisoning and, subsequently, to the disappointment in the healing powers of honey.

Natural honey – this unique product of bees strengthens the immune system and improves blood composition, making the body as invulnerable as possible to any ailments.

Honey has a high content of fructose and glucose. When digested, they provide a huge amount of energy that we need to be active and cheerful.

For many years, honey has been the main source of sweetness in European cuisine: it was put into porridge and rich pastries, cakes and tarts, juices and beer. Even such intoxicated drink as “drunk honey” was made of it.

Honey begins to form with the first spring warmth, but spring honey is very rarely taken from the hives, because it’s needed to feed young bees.

May honey, which is sold in the markets when summer starts, usually in mid-June and not earlier. It is considered to be very valuable.

The appearance of later varieties of honey corresponds with the flowering season of melliferous plants. Flower honey is pumped out in mid-July, linden and buckwheat – at the end of July.

The Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve” State Nature Institution offers our guests to taste this fragrant sunny delicacy! Berezinsky honey can be purchased at the local shop or at the bar of the Serguch Hotel.
